FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Q – Why are your fees so much lower than other online courses?
A – Our fees are lower because the mission of our company is to provide high quality online courses for homeschooling families for the lowest price possible. Our courses are designed for self-instruction by the student or with guidance by the parent, so we do not have the high administrative costs charged by other programs. Our courses are online so there are no extra charges for textbooks. We require payment up front, which cuts out unnecessary fees that drive up the prices of other online services. We rely on word-of-mouth referrals so we avoid the costly advertising fees. Please refer us to other homeschooling families so we can keep our fees low.

Q – Do you offer a payment plan?
A – We do not offer a payment plan. Our fees are currently so low that offering payment plans will drive up the costs of the courses. If you cannot afford the full-year fee, we suggest signing up for the 90 day plan. This will lower the initial cost and provide you will 90 days to try our system. We also offer single course enrollments. See our Pricing page for more information.

Q – Do you have a free trial period?
A – Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a free trial period. We have an option of viewing a demo of our system so that you can see how the system works.

Q – I have more than 1 student, do you offer a discount?
A – Yes, if you enroll more than 1 student we offer a 10% discount off the subsequent students’ fees.

Q – Do I have to buy any textbooks or software in order to use your curriculum?
A – No. All courses are done online via the internet. There are no other textbooks or software needed.

Q – How many classes can my high school student take?
A – With the Unlimited or 90 day plans, your student can take as many courses as you wish in all subjects except Math. Students are limited to one Math course included in our fees. Additional math courses can be purchased for an additional fee.

Q – My child is above/below level. How can your service help me?
A – If you find that the courses the student is currently enrolled in are either above or below level, we can switch the courses for you within 24 hours. Please e-mail us and we will adjust the child’s courses.

Q – I want to enroll but my child will not start classes until a later date. When does my time-period start?
A – Your time starts from the time you first log into your account, not from the date of enrollment.

Q – We are withdrawing our child from school mid-year. Can we enroll our child anytime during the year?
A – Yes, you can enroll your child at anytime.

Q – I am in need of an experienced teacher in order to guide my child. Do you offer this service?
A – Yes, we offer teacher-support for all of our classes for an additional fee. The teacher will grade the child’s work and guide your child through the course if he/she has any questions. If you choose this service, we offer an additional log-in for the parent so that the parent can see the student’s progress and grades. There is a messaging system where the student, teacher and parent can communicate. Please see our Pricing page for more information about this service.

Q – What if my child finishes a course ahead of time?
A – If your child is enrolled in the Unlimited plan and finishes the course early, we can enroll them into the next grade level course. All you have to do is e-mail us and request to add more courses.

Q – My time period is up but my student did not finish the course. What do I do?
A – Simply re-enroll for additional time (365 day or 90 day) and your student can continue where they left off. The student’s progress and grades are permanently saved in our system.

Q – Do you issue report cards?
A – No. We are not a school so we do not issue report cards. The parent issues the grades and report cards. The parents can easily print the student’s grades from the parent’s account.

Q – Are you accredited?
A – We are not a school, so accreditation does not apply to us. Although our program correlates to state standards, we recommend that you review your state's legal requirements before choosing any program.

Q – I am currently enrolled in a school. Will my school accept your courses?
A – Each school has their own policies. You would need to contact your school and make sure our courses are approved by them. If you are interested in enrolling in an “umbrella” school for homeschooling purposes, we can refer you to one that accepts our courses. They are very reasonably priced.

Q – Can the student see the answer keys when they are logged into the student account?
A – No. The answer keys are located in the Parent/Teacher account, which is a separate log-in from the student. The parent/teacher has access to the answers and the ability to correct the student answers.

Q – Do you have Christian curriculum?
A – No. The courses we offer are the same courses offered in public school, so it is secular. We hope to offer Christian-based options in the near future.

Q – If there is a problem with the system, who do I contact?
A – If there is a problem, you can e-mail or call us and we will immediately try to rectify it. We have a technical support team that is available 24/7. If you have any questions about the courses, we are available either by phone or e-mail, which can be found on the Contact Us page.

Q – Do you offer refunds?
A – No. We do not offer refunds because we have to pay the curriculum provider up front before the courses are available to the student. The curriculum provider does not offer refunds if a student cancels.
